N.D. State Trooper Kyle Stern and Dr. Marsha Lange are on a mission: to save lives. They are very concerned about the high rates of traffic-related injuries and deaths in the region. They see too many injuries and too many deaths that are 100 percent preventable. As a community, it is time to unite and address these issues. Parents, grandparents, teens, and concerned citizens are encouraged to come and learn more, and join in the discussion.
Citizens of Hatton, Northwood, and surrounding areas are invited to attend Cops & Docs on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hatton Community Center. This is two hours of your life that may help save the life of another, and prevent the heartache that impacts our entire region when we lose someone in a traffic-related crash.
Hatton Fire & Rescue, the Northwood Fire Department, Hatton area ministers, the Hatton-Northwood Awareness Network, Traill County Safe Communities have joined together to host this important event. In addition to State Trooper Kyle Stern and Dr. Lange, Bill Vasicek of Altru Health Systems will answer questions regarding child safety seats.
